God’s word speaks in many places about how godliness and Christian maturity are a measure of the inner self, yet often our measures of maturity focus on the externals, especially what we do. But the state of our heart and our outward actions can’t be separated. According to God, it’s not just our behaviour that matters; “the heart is the wellspring of life” (Proverbs 4:23).

At Ignite 2017 we’re going to take a look inside to see what’s really going on in us as God’s people in God’s world. But how do we even do this? How does the Bible explain what the heart is and how does it teach us to measure what state it’s in? How does our inside connect with our outside? And what do we do with what we find??

Come to Ignite to let God search and test our hearts by His Word and Spirit, so we can go deep, understand our whole selves better, and live more consistent lives to God’s glory – from the heart out.
