1. Transport & Parking
The easiest way to get to IGNITE is by car. There is ample free, on-street parking on Wool Street, on the Anzac Park side.
2. Carpooling – Can you link me up with someone?
We encourage you to organize car-pooling with other delegates you may know who are attending. If however this is not possible, please contact us and we’ll do our best to arrange something for you.
3. Is it catered?
Catering is provided for Morning Tea, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner for registered delegates only. No dinner is provided for those coming onsite for the night talks.
4. What denomination is ITC?
Ignite Training Conference is open to any Bible-believing Christian of any background, age (school leavers and older), and ethnicity. ITC is a member conference of the Queensland Christian Convention Association which is an interdenominational ministry.
5. Format of conference – Can we stay overnight?
ITC is a day conference, meaning that delegates do not stay overnight. However, billeting can be arranged for delegates coming from out of town. Please contact us as early as possible to arrange this for you.
6. Why should I still come to the morning session?
Our 2020 conference includes a redesigned morning session to incorporate more time in the conference to reflect on the content covered during the week. Our guest speaker will cover the night talks, while our local pastors will lead the devotions for the morning session. This does not mean that our morning sessions are not important.
One of our constant feedback comments is that our delegates are not able to properly reflect on the content covered during or after the conference is finished. We have included a period of reflection during the morning sessions to ensure you have time to ‘chew over’ what you are learning and grappling with during the conference.
7. Who are the speakers?
Our 2020 conference is titled “The Voice of the Prophets” focusing on the prophetic word of the Old Testament. Gary Millar (Principal of Queensland Theological College) will be the speaker on this topic.
8. Am I too young / too old to attend?
ITC is for school leavers and older. We welcome Bible-believing Christians of any background, age (year 12 graduates and up), or ethnicity to attend and learn from God’s word together.
9. Can I skip a strand?
Strand groups are the training centre of ITC; the conference is designed so that ideally, delegates return for at least 3 years to complete each strand in succession. The main reason a delegate would skip a strand is if they have already completed it at a similar conference – namely NextGen or NTE. If this is the case please indicate it in the Comments section of the Registration Form.
10. Can I come part time?
To fully benefit from the conference training (and to minimise disruption to your fellow strand group members), part-time options are NOT available except under extenuating circumstances. Please talk to your church contact if relevant, or contact us to discuss this.
11. How do I obtain promotional material?
Flyers are available by contacting us. Electronic copies can be found here. We are also sending a promotion pack to each of our networked churches.
12. I have other questions – how do I get in contact?
Please use the Contact Us page.
